Ensuring Email Delivery & Firewall Whitelisting

Sometimes Easy Board emails are redirected to spam or junk folders - or even blocked entirely by your email provider. It can be really frustrating!

Fortunately, there are steps you can take to help get Easy Board emails to the top of your inbox.

STEP 1

Make sure to whitelist [email protected] in your email firewall settings — if you have an IT team or firewall manager service, ask them to do this. If you aren’t sure what any of this means and you don’t have any organization firewall settings, skip ahead to step 2.

STEP 2

Add Easy Board to your “Safe Sender” list. Select your email provider below for helpful instructions.

• Gmail (click to expand)

  Add Easy Board to Your Contacts

  Add the Easy Board email address ([email protected]) to your Gmail Contacts. Google will usually deliver emails from addresses that are in your Contacts.

  Add Easy Board to Safe Senders List

  Create a filter to tell Google to allow Easy Board emails.

  1. Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings

  2. Click on Filters and then Create a new filter

  3. Enter the @mg.easyboard.com in the From field

  4. Click Create filter with this search

  5. In the box headed When a message arrives that matches this search select "Never send it to spam"

  6. Click the "Create Filter" button

• Outlook

  Add Easy Board to Your Contacts

  Add the Easy Board email address ([email protected]) to your Outlook Contacts. Outlook will usually deliver emails from addresses that are in your Contacts.

  Add Easy Board to your Safe Senders List

  1. Click the cog icon in the top-right corner and then More mail settings

  2. Select Safe and blocked senders and then Safe senders

  3. Add @mg.easyboard.com to the list of Safe senders

• Yahoo!

  Add Easy Board to Your Contacts

  Add the Add the Easy Board email address ([email protected]) to your Yahoo! Mail Contacts. Yahoo! will usually deliver emails from addresses that are in your Contacts.

  Add Easy Board to your Safe Senders List

  1. Mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings

  2. Click Filters and then Add

  3. Enter a Filter Name

  4. Enter @mg.easyboard.com in the Sender field.

  5. Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to

  6. Click Save and then click Save again

• Apple

  Add Easy Board to Your Contacts

  Add the Easy Board email address ([email protected]) to your Apple Contacts. Apple Mail will usually deliver emails from addresses that are in your Contacts.

  Add Easy Board to Your Safe Senders List

  1. Select Mail | Preferences from the menu bar in Mac OS X Mail.

  2. Click the Rules tab.

  3. Click Add Rule.

  4. Type a name in the Description field, such as "Safe Send: easyboard.com" to identify the new rule.

  5. Make sure the criteria reads If any of the following conditions are met and that the From field is followed by Ends with.

  6. Enter the domain name you want to allow in the field next to the Ends with field. Add an @ sign before the domain name to make the filter specific. For example, to whitelist all mail from the easyboard.com domain type "mg.easyboard.com" into the field.

  7. In the Perform the following actions section set the three fields to Move Message, to the mailbox, and Inbox.
